Beautiful Marigolds are "Flor De Muertos" known for their wonder and lively colors. They are a popular tradition during the Day of the Dead whimsical celebrations.

The Marigold paper flower's original name is "Cempoalxochitl" from one of Mexico's native language the "Nahuati." It means "Flor de los cuatrocientos petalos" the flower of the four hundred petals.

Tradition goes that the yellow and orange colors represent the Sun's rays, and the brilliance and light they bring to the souls in the world of the dead. Yellow and orange, they say, is the color of mourning for our antecedents.
